Hleger - Blood Rice & Live at Le Elbow Prison
Free direct download from Mount Athos
This one dropped back at the end of April and in my personal opinion, this is the very best Hleger yet. It features new music and old music (talk about old music - one of these tracks was recorded when he was only 3 years old) as well as a few from the early half of last decade. I can't stress to you enough that this is the best record outta Cape Town yet. Click that link up there.
Free download direct or through HOLY PAGE
Next up we have the newer and more chilled out Live at Le Elbow Prison which came out initially back on the 10th and then was picked up by HOLY PAGE for release on the 12th. Check out the alternative artwork:
Stoked to see Hleger working with HOLY PAGE, this is his latest and word in the tunnels is he'll be working on some videos next, we'll keep you posted on however that shapes up.

Hleger - Cathaya Den Chow-Chow
Download this one for free from Mount Athos
This is the newest full length from S. Africa's prodigal son. Cathaya Den Chow Chow is the cell-phone-recorded story of Chow-Chow being stuck on a planet of vicious aliens after a scientific experiment goes very wrong. Hleger's one of my favorite and in my opinion one of the most unique voices in audio right now, every/anyone would be a damn fool to ignore what this guy's doing. Download this record and see where things are going, it's the '10's you guys.
While we're here, I really enjoyed this interview that was on Mount Athos earlier this month, I'd like to share it with you.
In my time away from the site here, I got wind of a project that Mr. Hleger's hip to, there's a track floating 'round the world wide web called "EROTICA LE SEXY ITALY" from someone known as LEXION G8WAY ANIME YATCH. Hleger approves, as does 'the rookie card, back that. Download that track right down below, I'd like to embed it but I can't right now, it's one single track, won't hurt you to add it to your "recently added" on itunes, here you go: http://www.box.net/shared/to7bm5vjos

Hleger - Back to Stutopia/Nigeria Today!
You can download both of these for free direct from Mount Athos. I came across this earlier this weekend, looks like Hleger is transmitting these Ferraro worship broadcasts out of Cape Town, South Africa and with such grace. The two records above are his most recent. I'm going to throw a few songs down there below, along with a video to a song that completely shattered my mind yesterday morning, but maybe we'll talk about that in a little bit. For now here's a handful of songs from Hleger's three most recent releases as well as a song from another project called Tjut Dream§, that's featured on Nigeria Today!
Hleger - Babboon Grove
Hleger - Babboon Grove-Slight Return
Hleger - Ventura Side A 2 of 2
Hleger - StuartFerraro
Tjut Dream§ - Josh Needs To Go To The Hospital
THIS VIDEO, ok so I hadn't heard this song up to the point of watching this video, and first of all I'd like to point out how awesome that is to begin with, it was made by a guy known as Shaman, who's videos you can watch here and music you can listen to here. As for the song, fuuccckkkk, I'm positive no one on THIS planet saw that sample coming.
